Mindset: Science of Changing Your Life
Your life’s experience is defined by what and how you think. But most rarely stop to consider either variable, or the impact neglecting to do so has on your well-being. What you think can be changed. And how you think can be upgraded. Your success in career, business, entrepreneurship and life depends entirely on your mindset …

The Mindset newsletter is simple. Every week you will get three short bullets on creating better habits of mind, self improvement and life lessons. Healthy mind, wealthy life and wise soul. Just get a little better every day. That’s it.
What Mindset Is And Why It Matters
The human mind is an unparalleled feat of engineering. Over the long arc of evolution, the brain was upgraded with layers of advancing decision-making ability as needs in our environment changed. So although our environment has evolved drastically, especially in the last couple decades since the information age, the brain is still strapped with old systems that makes decisions based on raw instinct and emotions such as fear and anger.
Your mind, and your mindset, is a product of this complex evolution of the brain. But that raw material is also critically shaped by your individual mental temperament and the specifics of the environment in which you were raised and currently live. Your mindset is affected by everything from the inputs you have (books, movies, relationships, etc) to the words your parents and teachers used when raising you. And this mindset is continually shaped every day by the thousands of new thoughts you have every day.
But the important thing is that your mind is neuroplastic, meaning that it can change. Through a scientific process of understanding habits, you can get rid of bad mental habits and take on good ones. This means your mindset can evolve away from, for example, beating yourself up about past failures and instead re-frame those failures as a foundation on which to build a new success (as defined by you).
The Right Mindset For Success
The logo of the Mindset newsletter is a feather, because your mind and life should feel weightless when managed properly. So how do you balance the preexisting baggage of your mind — the current what and how you think — with the positive growth mindset you’d like to achieve? This is the purpose of this website and the Mindset newsletter. Each week the newsletter will explore different aspects of three core paths towards upgrading your mindset:
Habits of Mind
Foster a healthy mind using tools like habit changing disciplines, mental models, Buddhist, and stoic thinking, and science-based toolkits such as cognitive behavioral Therapy (CBT) and positive psychology. Developing a growth mindset will require assessment of how fixed your current outlook is; then it’s a systematic application of the mental toolkit to rethink the way you think.
Self-Improvement
Create a wealthy life though improved productivity and emotional intelligence for success in career, entrepreneurship and relationships. Self development, when applied in a rigorous scientific manner (incremental habit change) can have exponential impact across all the areas of your life.
Life Lessons
Cultivate a wise soul by expanding worldview into understanding culture, family, kids, success, love and death. What does the good life look like for you? With your mind and life as light as a feather, a bigger picture comes into priority. The goal here is to broaden worldview and gain perspective using more advanced mental and emotional tools such as rational compassion.
